Marco studied Business Informatics and Software Engineering at Vienna University of Technology. Since 2001, he has been continuously involved in numerous EDI projects.
He holds a PhD from TU Vienna for his thesis about inter-organisational business process modeling. During his PhD, he was also employed as Enterprise Architect at T-Mobile Austria. He has been a member of UN/CEFACT and chaired its “Business Process Working Group”. Furthermore, he was a member of RosettaNet’s Message Control and Choreography (MCC) Programm.
At ecosio, Marco acts as CTO and coordinates the development of the ecosio Integration Hub. Together with the ecosio engineering team, he aims to deliver new features and the best possible EDI user experience to ecosio’s customers and partners.
In his spare time, Marco likes to travel or to run through Vienna.
