This validation service reports validation errors on a very detailed level free of charge. Any additional support for correcting errors in your file is unfortunately not included and is only available for our customers. All documents submitted to the validation service are stored and processed in a non-persistent manner for the duration of the validation only, and are deleted after the result is displayed.

What does the XML validator validate exactly?

The ecosio XML validator checks for conformance of the provided XML document to the respective XML standard. This includes the following three stage checks:

Conformance to the well-formedness rules, according to the XML specification
Conformance to XML schema
Conformance to schematron rules
