FAQs

What are the benefits by partner model: Connector, Blue Label / White Label, and Referral?
ecosio offers different partner models depending on how a partner wants to create value for customers. Referral partners introduce clients to ecosio and benefit from commercial incentives while ecosio manages delivery. Connector partners build standardised integrations that connect their software or ERP ecosystem to ecosio’s global network. White Label partners embed ecosio’s e-invoicing and EDI capabilities into their own platform under their own brand. Each model helps partners expand their service offering, support compliance requirements, and create new revenue opportunities.
The onboarding process usually starts with a discovery call to understand the partner’s business model, target customers, and preferred partnership type. ecosio then aligns on the commercial framework, technical requirements, responsibilities, and go-to-market opportunities. After the partner agreement is signed, partners receive access to enablement materials, technical guidance, sales support, and relevant onboarding sessions.
Partners receive technical support from ecosio’s integration and partner teams. Depending on the partnership model, this can include technical workshops, integration guidance, mapping support, testing support, compliance expertise, and operational assistance. For more advanced models such as Connector or White Label partnerships, ecosio also supports technical alignment, implementation planning, and ongoing maintenance discussions.
ecosio supports partners with sales enablement materials, product messaging, use-case explanations, compliance content, and guidance for customer conversations. Partners may also receive support from a dedicated partner manager, access to campaign-ready assets, co-branded materials, webinars, events, and joint business planning. The goal is to help partners identify relevant opportunities, explain the value of managed e-invoicing and EDI, and accelerate pipeline development.
The commercial model depends on the selected partnership type. Referral partners may receive recurring referral incentives for introduced opportunities. Connector partners may benefit from joint commercial opportunities based on the integration and customer base. White Label partners typically operate with a model that supports embedded services, platform revenue, or margin-based commercial structures. The exact model is aligned individually based on the partner’s business case, customer segment, and level of involvement.
Customer relationship and contract ownership depend on the partnership model. In a Referral partnership, ecosio usually manages the direct customer contract after the introduction, while the partner remains involved as a trusted advisor. In a White Label partnership, the partner often owns the customer relationship and presents the service under their own brand, while ecosio provides the managed infrastructure behind the scenes. Connector partnerships are defined individually based on the commercial and technical setup.
The requirements depend on the partnership model and the intended level of collaboration. Some models can start with a low initial commitment, especially referral-based partnerships. More advanced models, such as White Label or Connector partnerships, may require stronger technical alignment, commercial planning, and clear business potential. ecosio evaluates each partnership individually to ensure there is a strong fit and a realistic path to mutual success.
Yes. A partnership can evolve over time as the business case, customer demand, and technical maturity develop. Some partners may start with referrals or a connector-based collaboration and later move towards a White Label model if they want to embed ecosio’s capabilities more deeply into their own platform or customer experience. ecosio supports partners in evaluating the right timing and setup for such a transition.
ecosio’s ISO 27001 certification reflects our commitment to information security management. Our platform employs robust security measures, including encryption and access controls, and adheres to GDPR compliance for data privacy. Our reliable infrastructure ensures the continuous and secure exchange of your electronic invoices.
ecosio integrates with major ERP and business software environments, including systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, and other enterprise platforms. The exact integration setup depends on the customer’s system landscape, data formats, and process requirements. ecosio supports scalable integration scenarios for e-invoicing, EDI, B2B, and B2G document exchange.
Partnering with a managed service provider helps companies reduce complexity, accelerate time to market, and avoid the ongoing burden of maintaining EDI, e-invoicing compliance, mappings, testing, and regulatory updates internally. Instead of building and operating everything in-house, partners can rely on ecosio’s managed infrastructure, compliance expertise, and operational support while focusing on their core business and customer relationships.
ecosio can support or manage EDI mapping, testing, validation, message routing, and continuous monitoring depending on the partnership model and project setup. This helps reduce technical workload for partners and ensures that document exchange processes remain stable, compliant, and scalable over time. Responsibilities are defined during onboarding and technical alignment.
If a connection fails or a format changes, ecosio supports issue analysis, monitoring, and resolution as part of the managed service setup. ecosio’s teams help identify the cause, coordinate necessary adjustments, and maintain stable document exchange. When regulatory or format requirements change, ecosio works to update the relevant connections and processes to reduce disruption for partners and their customers.
SLAs and uptime commitments depend on the specific agreement, partnership model, and service scope. ecosio provides enterprise-grade managed integration infrastructure designed for reliable, secure, and scalable document exchange. Detailed SLA terms, support levels, and operational responsibilities are discussed during the partnership and contract alignment process.
