To uphold our commitment to success, we’ve partnered with CREDENCE Background Screening Limited (ā€œCREDENCE) to conduct pre-employment checks. We believe that this step is essential in maintaining compliance and ensuring a smooth path together with our future employees. At ecosio, we value open communication, and we want everyone to be well-informed before applying for a job at ecosio.

What is CREDENCE?

Please note that pre-employment checks may take some time. We have a 15 working day SLA in place with CREDENCE for results of the pre-employment checks to be completed. This can vary depending on jurisdiction and other factors. If this timeframe somehow becomes a blocker for you, please contact your Recruiter at ecosio immediately.

What type of verifications is ecosio running?

Depending on the position you applied for, we run different kinds of pre-employment checks.

The pre-employment checks may include:

  • Criminal records (by agency if obtainable or must be provided by the candidate; 5 years back)
  • Employment verification (3 years back)
  • Education qualification verification
  • Adverse Media Check
  • Directorship checks

We will inform you in advance what type of information we are going to collect.

Why is this needed?

The employees at ecosio handle very sensitive information across multiple countries. Compliance and transparency are primordial in the type of business and industry we are in. In a nutshell, by running these easy checks we reduce our risks of non-compliance and can guarantee that our customersā€™ data is safe and secured.

Will you contact my current employer?

Yes, but only if the candidate agrees. OtherwiseĀ  we will not contact your current employer.

Will I be notified once the pre-employment checks are completed?

Yes. The recruiting team will let you know once the pre-employment checks are completed and we are all set to go!
