Leonhard studied Computer Science and Business Informatics at Vienna University of Technology.

During his studies he began working as a freelancer. For eight years he was managing partner of a software company in Vienna. His focus was on the auctioning of mobile spectrum frequencies and on network quality measurements. After a six-month stay in Norway, during which he worked on network quality measurements as part of a European research project, he started working at ecosio.

As Head of Site Reliability Engineering, Leonhard is responsible for the availability, reliability, and development of the cloud infrastructure at ecosio.

As a trained paramedic, he spends part of his free time with the emergency medical services. You will find him outdoors, hiking in the forest or on top of mountains. He also loves travelling.
