Philipp Liegl

Managing Director

Philipp studied Business Informatics at the Vienna University of Technology, where he completed his doctorate with a thesis on document engineering for B2B processes.

As part of a research project, Philipp became actively involved with UN/CEFACT – a United Nations organisation that develops the EDIFACT standard, among other things. In Austria, Philipp helped develop the ebInterface standard, which is now used for all electronic invoices to the Republic of Austria.

At ecosio, Philipp is in charge of Marketing and Sales as well as SAP integration and electronic invoicing. He supports customers in an advisory capacity and works with them to develop concepts for the introduction of EDI and e-invoicing. As an enthusiastic technician, Philipp can also be found advising on projects in the role of SAP architect. When he is not at ecosio, Philipp can often be seen giving talks both online and on stage.

In his free time, Philipp enjoys hiking in the mountains.
